The CNAPS (China National Advanced Payment System) codes are 12 digits numbers assigned to each Domestic Bank Branch as well as Foreign Bank Branches in Republic of China by People’s Bank of China, in order to uniquely identify the Bank Branches for carrying out financial transactions between Bank Branches in The Chinese Yuan (CNY) / Renminbi (RMB). CNY & RMB are interchangeable terms for China's currency. The Renminbi(RMB) is the official name of China's currency.
